Corrections are the most useful thing anyone sends. Every figure here is traceable to the provision it comes from, which means an error is findable — and the fastest way to find one is somebody reading the page against the instrument. If you are writing about a figure, the reply is much quicker if you say which page it was on, what it said, and what you believe the correct position is. A link to the provision in Victoria’s authorised legislation is ideal; where a schedule has been amended since we read it, that is exactly the kind of thing an individual reader notices before we do.

What we cannot do is look at your fine. Not because of a policy, but because there is nothing to look at: this site holds no records, has no connection to Fines Victoria, any council or any court, and does not ask for an obligation number, an infringement notice number, a driver licence number or a plate. It could not check your position even if you sent one, and it will not guess at it from a description. The authority on your fine is the body named on the notice you were sent.
